Can I transfer the balance from my old myki to a new/another myki card? 

Yes. You can use the PTV app. Log in or register, tap “myki” at the bottom, select the card you want to transfer the balance from, then tap “Manage” in the top right. Choose “Request a refund”, then select the option to transfer the balance to a new card. (Enter the new card number.)

The easiest method is simply to spend the remaining balance on the old card, then put it away and start using the new one.
